Emma Neary has over 20 years of work experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Emma currently works as the Talent Acquisition Director for Priory, where they lead a team of over 40 colleagues and oversees all aspects of talent acquisition, employer brand, and onboarding. Prior to joining Priory, Emma worked as the Head of Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand for Moneysupermarket Group, where they developed and implemented talent acquisition strategies and launched hiring team training. Before that, they held the position of Head of Talent Acquisition for Shop Direct, where they led a team and was responsible for driving the employer brand, implementing recruitment technology, and providing the best possible experience for candidates and hiring managers. Emma also has experience in recruitment from their roles at VMA Group, Hudson, Search Consultancy, Michael Page International, and Impact Plus.
Emma Neary earned a 2:1 degree in Law with LPC from Northumbria University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Talent Acquisition at a Crossroads from the Josh Bersin Academy in 2022, Phenom People Certified Power User from Phenom People in September 2020, and Certificate in Employer Brand Leadership from the Employer Branding College in 2019. Emma also holds a Black Belt in Internet Recruitment, although the details of when and where they obtained this certification are not provided.
