Nathan Ingram, PE, PMP

Project Manager at Priority Power

Nathan Ingram, PE, PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering and project management. Nathan has worked at various companies and held different roles throughout their career.

Nathan began their career as an Engineering Intern at the City of Stillwater, Oklahoma in 2006, where they worked on electrical system studies, wiring schematics, construction support, contracts and proposals, and material acquisition.

In 2008, Nathan joined American Electric Power as an Electrical Engineer, where they designed electrical distribution systems for large commercial developments and customer load growth. Nathan also designed electrical substations ranging in voltages from 15kV through 345kV throughout Oklahoma.

From 2013 to 2016, Nathan worked at Burns & McDonnell as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in the design of electric power substations and switching stations. Nathan also served as an assistant project manager and lead electrical engineer.

Nathan then joined Grand River Dam Authority in 2016, where they worked as a Substation Engineer and later as a Substation Engineering Supervisor. Nathan managed projects within northeastern Oklahoma, including municipal delivery improvements, SPP-driven improvements, and internal maintenance projects.

In 2019, Nathan returned to American Electric Power as a Transmission Project Manager Senior. In this role, they successfully managed a project portfolio of $170M, leading teams through the execution of brownfield and greenfield projects within the SPP footprint. Nathan completed the AEP GOLD leadership program in 2021.

Currently, Nathan is a Project Manager at Priority Power, starting in 2023. Further details about their role in this position are not provided.

Nathan Ingram, PE, PMP has a strong education background in electrical engineering. Nathan started their education journey at Okmulgee High School from 1997 to 2001. After completing high school, they pursued an Associate's of Applied Science in Electrical Construction Technology at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee from 2001 to 2003. Following this, Nathan went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, which they completed from 2004 to 2008.

In addition to their academic achievements, Nathan has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional qualifications. Nathan obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2021. Nathan is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering from both the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors and the Texas Board of Professional Engineers.
