María Miura-Pareja has a diverse work experience in various roles related to customer support, language teaching, interpretation, and academic lecturing. María'smost recent position was as a Customer Support Agent at Printful since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Internship Student at Japan Foundation, Madrid from April 2018 to March 2019. María also served as an Interpreter at Japan Foundation (Madrid) for a brief period in March 2018. Before their internships, they worked as a Lecturer of Spanish at the University of the Ryukyus from October 2015 to August 2017, and as a Spanish teacher at Da Vinci International School for a few months in 2015. Additionally, they have experience as a Vocal tester for DELE at the University of the Ryukyus in November 2014. María has also worked as a Freelance Spanish Language Teacher in London, United Kingdom from September 2012 to September 2013. Prior to that, they held roles as the Spanish Language Department Head at Language Laboratory from March 2012 to September 2012, and as a Spanish Teacher at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca in January 2012.
María Miura-Pareja began their education in 2003 at the Universitat de Barcelona, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree. María completed their undergraduate studies in 2008. María then furthered their education at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca from 2011 to 2012, obtaining a Master of Spanish Language Teaching degree. In 2013 and 2014, they attended the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija and earned a Master's degree in Linguistics Applied to Spanish Language Teaching. Lastly, María pursued an advanced research degree at the Universidad de Salamanca from 2016 to 2020, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Spanish with a specialization in Language and Literature.
