John joined Principal Street in 2019 to lead the Infrastructure Plus Strategy. Previously John was a Financial Advisor at Edward Jones, Partner at ATLAS Infrastructure, Director and Senior Analyst at Credit Suisse covering Midstream Energy and MLPs and Senior Vice President and Senior Analyst covering Energy MLPs for Morgan Keegan. According to Starmine, which analyzes the track record of sell-side analysts, John’s stock picks resulted in an alpha of 800 bp/year relative to benchmark for the five-year period ending in the spring of 2017, placing him in the top 15% of all sell-side analysts. He was ranked in the Top 10 by Institutional Investor multiple times and was widely quoted in the financial media including Barron’s, the Wall Street Journal, and Streetwise Reports. John is a CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute, holds an MBA from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Occidental College.
