Andrew Chaban is the Chief Executive Officer of Princeton Properties. He is considered to be one of the foremost industry experts in the field of rehabilitation and management of multifamily rental housing.
Locally, Andrew is the past President of the North East Builders Association of Massachusetts, past President of the Massachusetts Apartment Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and a Board Member, Public Policy Committee Member and a past State Representative to the National Association of Home Builders for the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Massachusetts. Andrew was chosen as one of the “125 Leaders Making a Difference” by Banker & Tradesman of Boston, MA and was the recipient of the B’nai Brith Man of the Year Award.
Andrew is a Member of the Tufts University Tisch College Board of Advisors and a past Member of the Tufts University Trustee Buildings & Grounds Committee. He is also a past Chairman of the Pike School Board of Trustees in Andover, MA.
Andrew is also very involved with the National Association of Home Builders. Currently Andrew is an Executive Board Member, a Senior Life Director and a Capital Club Member. Andrew has been Chairman of the Association Planning Committee, the Housing Finance Committee, the Public Affairs Committee and the State & Local Government Affairs Committee. He has been the Chairman of the Federal Government Affairs Committee twice, Chairman of the Capital Club, Chairman of the Resolutions Committee twice, Multifamily Chairman twice and he has organized and lead the Budget & Finance Committee and its Investments Sub-committee three times. Andrew was the founding Chairman of the Housing Credit Certification Board, responsible for credentialing tax credit compliance professionals.
Princeton Properties has been awarded NAHB’s Pillars of The Industry Awards eight times. These prestigious national awards include Best Multifamily Rehab, Best Asset Turnaround, Property Manager of the Year and the Property Management Firm of the Year. The National Apartment Association recognized a Princeton property as well multiple times. Locally, the Massachusetts Apartment Association of Greater Boston Real Estate Board has recognized a Princeton property for its Community Excellence Award multiple times.
Andrew is a cum laude graduate of Tufts University and lives in Andover, MA.
