Mirto H. Breell Jr. has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Project Director and Executive Sponsor at Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) since February 2004, where responsibilities include overseeing stakeholder requirements for the Terminal reconstruction project. In addition, Mirto holds the position of Director of the Technical Division, managing technical projects, construction, and maintenance at the airport. Since June 2014, Mirto has also been the Managing Director at Cornerstone Solutions NV, while previously holding various roles including Captain, Technical Director, and First Officer at Windward Islands Airways International N.V. (WINAIR) from June 1993 to February 2004. Mirto earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management Flight Tech from the Florida Institute of Technology between 1988 and 1993.
