Evan Smithanik is a highly experienced professional in supply chain management and logistics, currently serving as the Manager of Supply Chain Optimization at Prince Rupert Port Authority since October 2023. Previously, Evan held the position of Manager for Northern B.C. at Bolloré Logistics from March 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing freight forwarding services and establishing strategic partnerships in the region. Prior roles also include a managerial position in Business Intelligence and earlier roles as Business Analyst and Senior Business Analyst at Prince Rupert Port Authority from September 2011 to March 2020, focusing on market research, performance measurement, and strategic planning. Evan holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a degree in Commerce with a focus on Operations Management from the University of Calgary.
