Satish Anand has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Satish began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Tata Unisys from 1985 to 1988. Satish then joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta as an Analyst from 1993 to 1996. Following this, they worked at Primus Software Corporation as the President of Project Services starting in 1996. In 2005, Anand became a Board Member and later the Board President of the Southeast Region at the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce until 2011. Additionally, they served as the Board Chairman and Board Member at the TAG Southeastern Software Association from 2007 to 2013.

Satish Anand completed their high school education at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1972 to 1979. Satish then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell, spanning from 1979 to 1983. Following this, Satish Anand enrolled at the National Institute of Industrial Engineering and Systems, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering and Systems from 1983 to 1985.
