Ivan Sabath, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at Primrose Bio's Process Development Group, focusing on the development of protein purification methods across various scales. With a robust background in purification development from previous roles at Ligand Pharmaceuticals and Pelican Expression Technology, Ivan has extensive experience in chromatographic purification processes for diverse protein classes. Early career achievements include postdoctoral research at Purdue University, where Ivan studied ribonucleoprotein complexes, and a graduate research assistantship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which involved histone pre-mRNA processing. Ivan holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry from UC San Diego.
