Akinjide Faji has several years of experience in the finance industry. AKINJIDE started their career at Fortis Microfinance Bank Plc in 2012, where they worked as a Regional Manager until 2017. In 2017, they joined Primera Microfinance Bank as the Head of Sector for Micro Credit. During their time there, they implemented effective strategies to increase the monthly portfolio to 50 million and achieved a total portfolio growth size of 435 million. AKINJIDE also reduced the loan delinquency rate significantly. In 2019, they moved to Nuture Microfinance Bank as the Business Development Manager.

Akinjide Faji obtained their Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Federal Polytechnic Offa, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In 2016, they obtained a certification in Microfinance from The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria - CIBN. AKINJIDE also has a certification from the Associate Institute of Cost Management, although the specific details of the certification are not provided.
