Sogol Asghari has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career at Hacoupian, where they completed an internship in 2011. They then worked as a Teacher Assistant at Saadat High School from September 2011 to August 2012. In 2013, Sogol joined the University of Manitoba as a Research Assistant, specializing in biomaterials synthesis and surface engineering. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant, providing support to students in textile sciences courses.

In 2016, Sogol joined NYGÃ…RD International as a Product Manager, responsible for sourcing and developing new fabrics and trims based on seasonal design direction. They also built and maintained relationships with cross-functional teams and ensured alignment and efficiency in project resources and approaches. Additionally, they handled price and lead-time negotiations while maintaining product integrity and supporting the global business strategy.

Sogol's career then took them to the Institute of Textile Science in 2020, where they became a member of the Board of Directors. They contributed their expertise to the organization's decision-making process.

In 2021, Sogol got involved with the Canadian General Standard Board as a member of the Committee on the National Flag of Canada. They brought their knowledge and insights to discussions and decision-making related to the national flag.

Currently, Sogol is working at PRIMED Medical Products Inc. Since joining in 2017 as a Product Development Specialist, they have progressed to the role of Senior Product Development Specialist. Their responsibilities at PRIMED include contributing to product development efforts and ensuring the success of new medical products.

Sogol Asghari earned a Bachelor's degree in Textile engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic in 2009-2013. Sogol then pursued a Master's degree in Textile Science from the University of Manitoba from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Sogol has obtained various certifications, including "Understanding Patents" from McGill University and The Intellectual Property Institute of Canada in July 2019, "Completing Containment Level 2, Operational Practices course" and "Completing Biosafety Program - Biosecurity Plan" from the Public Health Agency of Canada in December 2013 and October 2013 respectively, "Tailoring Diploma" from Iran Technical & Vocational Training Organization in November 2012, "Emergency First Aid – Level C, CPR and AED" from St. John Ambulance Canada in July 2017, and "Certificate of Emergency Rescue" from the Ministry of Health and Education of Iran, Educational Deputy of University Jihad, Tehran University of Medical Science in July 2013.
