Layak Mohammed is a data architect with extensive experience modernizing data platforms by moving and maintaining them in the cloud. Known by colleagues as the ā€œgo toā€ problem solver, he excels at helping customers address and overcome pain points with innovative cloud solutions that deliver a positive ROI. Prior to joining Prime TSR, Layak worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he helped Amazonā€™s customers overcome cloud migration issues. He is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect with 10 years of experience as a database architect/infrastructure project lead for Tate & Lyle, a London-based global provider of ingredients and solutions for food, beverage, and industrial markets; and as a database administrator for companies like Deutsche Bank, Kaplan Financial, Express, and Polaris Laboratories. Layak holds an MS in electrical and computer engineering from NYIT and a BS in electrical engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India. Heā€™s married with two children.
