Kristen Jaskie has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fields of machine learning, data science, and academia. Kristen is currently a Principal Machine Learning Research Engineer at Prime Solutions Group, Inc., where they began working in June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at the same company from June 2018 to June 2021.

In addition to their industry experience, Kristen Jaskie has also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Arizona State University starting in August 2021. Before that, they owned and operated their own consulting company, Data Analytics Consulting LLC, since July 2015.

Kristen Jaskie has a strong academic background as well. Kristen was a PhD student and researcher at Arizona State University from August 2018 to June 2021. During this time, they also worked as a full-time faculty member and department chair in the Computer Science and Mathematics department at Maricopa Community Colleges from August 2011 to August 2018. Kristen later transitioned to part-time employment to focus on their PhD studies.

Prior to their time at Arizona State University, Kristen Jaskie worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego from January 2007 to June 2011. Kristen held the position of Head TA for CSE3, where they designed and led weekly labs for 600 students in an introductory programming and data analysis course. Kristen also served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on machine learning research, under the supervision of Dr. Charles Elkan.

Kristen Jaskie's earlier work experiences include roles as a Graduate Student Researcher at the San Diego Supercomputer Center from 2010 to 2011, a Systems and Machine Learning Researcher at BRE Systems from 2000 to 2005, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington in 2001, and an Intern at Motorola in 1999.

Throughout their career, Kristen Jaskie has gained expertise in machine learning, data science, research, and teaching. Kristen has demonstrated their ability to work in both industry and academic settings, making significant contributions to various projects and organizations.

Kristen Jaskie has an extensive education history. In 1997, they attended the University of Arizona for a period of two years, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Washington in 2000 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2001. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning at UC San Diego from 2007 to 2011. Kristen's education journey continued with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Signal Processing and Machine Learning at Arizona State University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. In addition to their higher education, Kristen also has experience teaching at Glendale Community College as a Faculty member, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science.
