Shivangi Modi has a diverse work experience with various roles in different companies. In 2022, they joined Prime Medicine, Inc. as a Senior Associate Scientist I. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they worked at Tessera Therapeutics as a Research Associate II. In the same year, they also served as a Co-Op in Antibody Discovery at Momenta Pharmaceuticals. In 2018 and 2020, they were a Master's Student at Northeastern University. In 2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Neuro Lab and a Volunteer Graduate Research Assistant at Godoy's Lab. Furthermore, they gained experience as a Student and Undergraduate Researcher at Thadomal Shahani Engineering College from 2014 to 2018. In 2017, they had a brief role as a Trainee at MITCON Bio-Pharma and an Internship at Dr. Nerurkar's modern clinical laboratory. Additionally, in 2016, they worked as a Trainee at Dr. Nerurkar's modern clinical laboratory.

Shivangi Modi completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College from 2014 to 2018. Shivangi then pursued their Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology from Northeastern University from 2018 to 2020. In August 2020, they obtained their Master of Science certification from Northeastern University.
