Sanjana Thompson has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Sanjana is currently working as a Senior Associate Scientist II at Prime Medicine, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to that, they held roles at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, including Principal Research Associate from March 2022 to May 2023, and Senior Research Associate from April 2019 to March 2022. Sanjana also worked as a Scientist at PPD from June 2018 to April 2019.

Sanjana's earlier experiences include working as a Research Assistant at Northeastern University from January 2017 to May 2018, and as an Analytical Development/Quality Control Co-op at Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. from July 2016 to December 2016. Additionally, they obtained certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED for Professional Rescuers, as well as certifications as a Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor, all from the American Red Cross.
