Raghuvaran Iyer's work experience starts in 2008 as a Student Intern at Clariant. From 2009 to 2016, they worked at Syracuse University as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2014, they were a Summer Intern at AptaMatrix, Inc., where they were involved in various molecular biology and laboratory management tasks. From 2016 to 2020, Raghuvaran worked as an Analytical Chemist (Method Development) at Intertek. Raghuvaran then joined Wave Life Sciences in 2020 as a Scientist II in Process Development until 2022. Currently, Raghuvaran is employed as a Scientist II in Oligonucleotide Process Development at Prime Medicine, Inc.

Raghuvaran Iyer has pursued their education in the field of Chemistry. Raghuvaran first attended the Institute Of Chemical Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree. Raghuvaran'sfield of study in this program was Chemical Technology in Dyestuff and Intermediates. Raghuvaran then went on to pursue higher education at Syracuse University. There, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree and later a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, both in Chemistry.
