Gwinette Cowan, MSN, RN, currently serves as the Senior Director of Nursing of Women's and Children's Services at Prime Healthcare since June 2022. Previously, Gwinette held the position of Vice President of ASCs at NVISION Eye Centers for a brief period in early 2022. Gwinette has extensive experience in leadership roles, including Executive Director of Clinical Specialties at CHOC Children's from December 2019 to January 2022, and Executive Director at UCSF Medical Center from January 2018 to December 2019. Gwinette's career also includes roles as Director and Clinical Manager at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Clinical Manager of Interventional Programs at Kaiser Permanente. Earlier roles include Clinical Manager in pediatric intensive care at both UCSF Medical Center-Children's and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, and Regional Director of Operations at Fairview University of Minnesota. Gwinette earned a Master of Science in Nursing with an Executive Leadership Focus from Benedictine University between 2016 and 2018.
