Santi Dharmawan

Santi Dharmawan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Indonesia in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, Santi worked as a Researcher and Project Leader at the Society for Democracy Education, where they conducted research projects and managed relationships with donor agencies and foreign embassies.

In 2010, Santi joined the U.S. Department of State as a Security Assistance Specialist and Cooperation Program Manager for the Office of Defense Cooperation, a role they held until 2012.

From 2013 to 2013, Santi worked as a National Development Program Coordinator at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In this role, they managed development programs and activities aligned with New Zealand Aid's strategic focal areas.

In 2014, Santi joined Burson-Marsteller as a Corporate and Public Affairs Manager. They provided strategic advice to clients and led various PR initiatives and campaign programs for corporate positioning, brand communications, public affairs, media relations, and crisis communications.

Santi's next role was as a Freelance Consultant, where they worked as a self-employed contractor providing consulting services from 2017 to 2017.

In 2017, Santi joined FWD Consult as an Account Manager and later became an Account Director from 2019 to 2021. They worked on various accounts and managed client relationships.

Starting in 2021, Santi worked as an Account Director at Lansons until May 2023, overseeing account activities and client engagements.

Most recently, Santi joined TheCityUK in June 2023 as a Senior Manager in Public Relations.

Santi Dharmawan pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Political Economy of Emerging Markets from King's College London. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology from the University of Indonesia.
