Nipun Arora, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Engineering for Global Flights Architecture at Priceline, where responsibilities include defining tech strategy and overseeing a layered microservices stack that integrates 50 suppliers to handle over 40 million daily search requests. Previously, Nipun held the position of Director of Engineering for Search & Price at Flights, leading multiple engineering teams across the US, Canada, Ukraine, and Buenos Aires, and driving innovation for the Firefly project, a key global supply aggregation platform. Nipun's prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Dropbox, developing middle layer services for file previews, and as a Senior Associate Researcher at NEC Laboratories America, where contributions included architecting a log analytics service and developing streaming anomaly detection using advanced data processing technologies. Nipun holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
