Derek Marsh has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Derek currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Preteckt, a role they have been in since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Software Engineer at Preteckt from April 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Preteckt, Derek worked at Southern Company Gas as an Application Developer from June 2015 to April 2019.

Derek also has experience in the academic field, having worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UNC Charlotte from January 2013 to December 2014. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at UNC Charlotte from May 2014 to August 2014.

Derek's earlier experience includes working as a Webcasting Technician at the University of Tennessee from January 2010 to December 2012. Derek also worked as a Research Assistant at the National Park Service from January 2011 to May 2011.

Derek Marsh completed their Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. Derek then pursued further education and received a Master of Arts in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, studying there from 2013 to 2014.
