Paul Basden has extensive experience in pastoral leadership and higher education. Serving as the Senior Pastor at Preston Trail Community Church, Basden previously held the same title at Brookwood Baptist Church from February 1994 to February 2002. Additionally, Basden worked as a University Professor at Samford University from August 1990 to May 1994. Educationally, Basden attended Baylor University from 1974 to 1977.
