Kim Nguyen is currently an Adjunct Faculty member for the Homeland Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University, a position held since June 2023. As the CEO of Prestige Analytics since October 2009, Kim has extensive leadership experience. Previous roles include Emergency Management Planning, Training and Exercises at Tetra Tech EM Inc. from September 2010 to January 2019, and a Security position at Tipsy Crow from August 2011 to December 2014. Kim also served as a Homeland Security Operations Analyst and Project Manager at SRA International from June 2007 to December 2010 and worked as a Support Specialist II at EG&G Technical Services for one year. Kim's military background includes serving as a Sergeant in the Army National Guard from September 2001 to November 2006. Additionally, a stint as Curriculum Coordinator at UC Davis Extension was held from November 2005 to June 2006. Academically, Kim holds a Master of Science in Homeland Security from San Diego State University and a BA in Sociology and Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
