Kim Whelan is an experienced accountant with a strong background in financial management and reporting. Currently serving as Accountant III at Prestige Healthcare Management since January 2017, Kim oversees daily and monthly ledger activities for a designated region. Previous roles include Tax Accountant Contractor at Papa John's International, where multi-state sales and use tax returns were prepared, and Staff Accountant at Baptist Health (KY), managing various accounting functions such as month-end close and financial reviews. Additional experience includes analyzing financial statements at Kindred Healthcare following a major merger and overseeing general ledger responsibilities at PharMerica and OMG, LLC. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky, complemented by a college preparatory background in Accounting and Finance from Holy Rosary Academy.
