Akeel Hassan is an accomplished Executive Producer at Sony Pictures Entertainment since October 2019. In addition to this role, Akeel serves as the Executive Director of The Wings Global, an event management and production company based in J&K, India, which has expanded its services since 2003 to include hospitality and consultancy while aligning with international standards. Akeel also works as a Producer and Correspondent for PressTV and has held the position of Director at Koncept Advertising since February 2010. Previous experience includes freelance reporting for The New Indian Express and production roles at MACA and IBN7. Akeel holds degrees in Journalism & Mass Communication from AIIMS and Video Graphy from FTII, Pune, along with a background in Mass Communications and Journalism focused on Electronic Media.
