Matthew Hills began their work experience in 2001 at Zonare Medical Systems as a consulting role, which lasted until 2004. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a consultant at both Intrapace and Spinal Modulation. Matthew then transitioned into an engineering role at Intrapace from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an engineer at St. Jude Medical. Following that, they joined Nevro as an engineer from 2014 to 2021. Matthew then worked at NÄ“sos as an engineer from December 2021 to April 2022. Currently, they are an engineer at Presidio Medical, Inc. starting from May 2022.

Matthew Hills received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) from the University of California, Berkeley in 1993. Matthew then went on to pursue further education at Stanford University, where they earned both their Master of Science and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering. Matthew completed their studies at Stanford in 2007.
