Priya C. has a diverse work experience in the field of historic preservation and public history. Priya started their career at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where they held various positions from Program Assistant to Associate Director of Content. During their time there, they focused on developing and managing content related to social justice, diversity, and women's history. Priya also played a key role in the production of digital content and the development of a podcast pilot. After their tenure at the National Trust, they became a Board Member and held leadership positions at the National Council on Public History, where they organized events and developed online content. Additionally, Priya C. is an author and published a children's book titled "The Heart of the River".
Priya C. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the College of William and Mary from 2000 to 2004. Priya then pursued their Master of Arts degree in History with a concentration in Public History at American University from 2004 to 2006.
