Alicia Mendoza has a diverse work experience in the field of speech-language pathology. Alicia started their career as a Speech Language Pathologist at St. Martin Parish School Board in 2013 and worked there until 2015. From 2015 onwards, Alicia held various roles in different organizations, including Dauterive Hospital, Reliant Rehabilitation, and Iberia Rehab Hospital, where they gained experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. In 2018, Alicia joined the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as a Clinical Supervisor and continued in that role until 2019. Alicia then transitioned to the corporate sector, working at Presence as a Lead Therapist, Clinical Account Manager, Clinical Empowerment Manager, Senior Clinical Empowerment Manager, and is currently working as a Clinical Empowerment Director. Alicia Mendoza obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2007 to 2013. In 2014, they also obtained a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
