Annie Xu has a long history of work experience. Annie began their career in 2013 as a Freelance Graphic Designer for IMUNC. In 2015, they became the Creative Director for IMUNC Eastern Regional. In 2016, they took on the role of Management & Administration Internship for SIP Foreign Language School BC Program. In 2017, they had three roles; Graphic Designer for TEDxUofT, Scholar-in-Residence for Jackman Humanities Institute, and Research Assistant for University of Toronto, Faculty of Information. In 2018, they worked as a Digital Imaging Technician for University of Toronto and a Graphic Designer, Social Media Assistant for Art Canada Institute. In 2019, they became the Digitization Assistant for UCL, Ethnography Collections. Most recently in 2020, they have held three roles; Director of CX for Prescient, Director of Digital Communications for Prescient, and UX Designer for Prescient.
Annie Xu attended the University of Toronto from 2016 to 2019, where they earned an Hon. Bachelor of Arts in Art Theirtory and Theirtory. In 2015, they attended OCAD University, studying Graphic Design and Visual & Critical Studies. In 2019, they completed an MSc in Digital Humanities at UCL. In October 2020, they obtained a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
