Dave Klinger began their work experience in 1989 as the Associate Vice President design and Construction at FHP. Dave then moved on to Talbert Medical Management Corporation in 1995 as the Vice President of real estate and Property operations. In 1999, they joined Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital as the Vice President - Facilities and Real Estate. Dave Klinger retired in 2016 as the Senior Vice President - Real Estate and Facilities at PIH Health.

Dave Klinger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management with a focus on Systems Management from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics, where they studied from 1968 to 1972. Dave later obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, completing the program between 1989 and 1991.
