Christin Johnson Norman has extensive experience in pastoral and ministry roles. Their most recent position is as the Head Chaplain at Presbyterian Village Athens, which they started in February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Family Ministry at Oconee Presbyterian Church from October 2018 to January 2021. In this role, they successfully recruited and trained a larger number of volunteers and nursery staffers, leading to increased participation in children's ministry.

Christin Johnson Norman obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Religion from The University of Georgia between 2005 and 2009. Christin then pursued a Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, completing it from 2009 to 2012. In 2023, Christin acquired a Certification in Chaplaincy from the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE).
