Lynne Simpson is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of English literature with extensive experience in higher education and organizational governance. Serving as the Interim Executive Director of the College English Association since March 2019, Lynne brings valuable insights from previous roles, including Vice-President and Program Chair from March 2016 to March 2017. Lynne has been a Professor of English at Presbyterian College since July 1996, contributing to the academic community for several decades. Lynne holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in English literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as a B.A. in English and Business Administration & Economics from Washington & Jefferson College.
