Greg Mappin serves as the Medical Director and Associate Professor in Physician Assistant Studies at Presbyterian College since September 2018. Previously, Greg held the position of Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Self Regional Healthcare from April 2006 to September 2018. Before that, Greg was the Managing Partner at Greenwood Surgical Associates from January 1993 to April 2006. Greg began a career in medicine as a General Surgeon in the Air Force from 1985 to 1992. Educational credentials include an MBA from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee (2004-2005) and an MD from Duke University School of Medicine (1976-1979).
