KJ Lee has a varied work experience starting with their role as a Sales Operations Intern at Baker & Bloom Education Center in 2016. They later went on to work as a Sales Operations Intern at Managed by Q in 2017. In 2018, KJ Lee joined Preqin as a Sales Operations Analyst and then progressed to the role of Senior Sales Operations Analyst in 2019. They then became the Deputy Head of Revenue Operations in 2020 before being promoted to the position of Global Head of Revenue Operations later that same year. Additionally, KJ Lee also served as an Education Mentor at Ivy Labs Education Inc. from 2015 to 2018.

KJ Lee holds a Bachelor's Degree from New York University with a double major in Economics and Psychology. They are currently pursuing a part-time Master of Science degree in Business Analytics from Imperial College Business School, expected to be completed between 2022 and 2024. In addition to their formal education, KJ Lee has obtained various certifications, including: The Ultimate MySQL Bootcamp from Udemy, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) from Salesforce, Heap Foundations Certified from Heap, Microsoft Power BI from Maven Analytics, CAIA Fundamentals of Alternative Investment Certificate from CAIA Association, Wall Street Prep Excel Course from Wall Street Prep, and Alteryx Designer Core Certification from Alteryx, obtained in January 2022.
