Elizabeth Kimball has a varied work experience. In 2011, they worked as an AmeriCorps Volunteer for EducationWorks, where they were an in-classroom mathematics tutor in an inner-city Philadelphia public high school. Elizabeth then joined the NYC Teaching Fellows program in 2012, where they were a Math Fellow and completed their Master's degree program at St. John's University. Elizabeth was also a Mathematics Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Illuminate Education, Inc. as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for on-boarding clients with their software, running data verification checks, documenting and improving processes, and reporting issues. Elizabeth then worked as a Product Manager for Operoo from 2021 to 2021 and PrepScholar from 2021 to 2022. In 2019, they were seeking opportunities in Montpellier, France.
Elizabeth Kimball obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011. Elizabeth then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from St. John's University in 2014. In 2012, they obtained a Transitional B Teaching Certificate from the New York State Education Department, followed by an Initial Teaching Certificate from the same institution in 2013.
