Paul Antalik has over 14 years of experience in process development and operations engineering. Paul began their career in 2006 as a Volatiles GC/MS Analyst and Assistant Supervisor at ELAB, Inc. In 2008, they moved to PetroAlgae as a Process Engineer, where they were responsible for bench- and pilot-scale testing of various unit operations. In 2011, they joined Parabel, Inc. as the Manager of Process Development R&D, where they managed a multi-disciplined group to decrease overall capital costs of scaled facilities, while increasing product purity and yields. In 2013, they joined Heliae as a Senior Process Engineer and was responsible for a wide range of development including reactor, production platform, and downstream optimization. In 2018, they became an Independent Consultant, providing Process Development and Project Management expertise to variety of clients. In 2019, they joined Hinoman USA, Inc. as a Senior Process & Operations Engineer, where they led efforts into identifying process parameters and KPIs for all production steps and unit operations. Currently, they are the Director of Process Improvement at Prenexus Health, where they are responsible for identification of improved processing methods for downstream purification of oligosaccharides through various unit operations, as well as expansion planning to increase capacity of the facility.
Paul Antalik attended North Carolina State University from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a B. S. in Chemical Engineering and a B. A. in Chemistry.
