John Murphy has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting field. John currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance at PhysicianOne Urgent Care from September 2015 to November 2020.

Before joining PhysicianOne Urgent Care, they had an extensive tenure at Wellington Management, where they held multiple leadership positions. Some of these roles include Business/PMO Manager, VP (January 2013 to September 2015), Director, Global Payroll Operations, VP (January 2011 to January 2013), Controller, Compensation, VP (January 2007 to January 2011), and Project Manager, Accounting Systems, VP (January 2006 to January 2007).

John also gained valuable experience at Programart Corporation as a Senior Accountant from May 1996 to November 1998 and at Bronner Slosberg Humphrey as a Staff Accountant from May 1992 to May 1996.

John Murphy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Accounting at Suffolk University, completing their studies from 1997 to 1999.
