Michael has thirty-five years of acquisition and program management experience with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) where he earned a proven record of success leading competitive Federal sector information technology and telecommunications acquisition programs. Until his retirement in 2009, he served as the Director, Network Services at GSA’s National Capital Region where he oversaw the Federal Government’s largest local telecommunications network in the nation, the $1.8 billion Washington Interagency Telecommunications System. In 2006, Michael served as the Director, Assisted Acquisition Services where he oversaw the acquisition and administration of $250 million in annual IT service and commodity contracts. He served many years as an Acquisition Center Branch Chief and contracting officer holding an unlimited warrant.
A passionate advocate for continuous growth and learning, Michael provides executive coaching, leadership training, and development to Government agencies, the business community, local youth and community organizations.
