Hiroaki Mikami is a researcher at Preferred Networks, Inc. since September 2019, focusing on advanced technologies. Prior employment includes a software engineer role at Sony from April 2017 to August 2019, where deep learning workloads were optimized. Hiroaki also worked as a part-time Android engineer at Retty, Inc. between September 2015 and March 2017, developing an Android application and server APIs while enhancing UI and server functionalities. An internship at Mitsubishi Electronics took place in February 2016. Hiroaki holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Tokyo (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university (2011-2015).
