Sylvain Kockmann is a seasoned professional in sustainable sourcing and project management, currently serving as a Sustainable Sourcing Specialist at Preferred by Nature since January 2023. Prior experiences include roles as a Senior Project Manager at TriesseGressard Consultants, where Sylvain oversaw international project development and consultancy services for sustainable value chains and wholesale markets. Previous tenures at AFD focused on managing water and sanitation projects across Egypt and Palestinian Territories, as well as urban and rural infrastructure initiatives. Earlier experience at Nitidae involved assisting value chains in landscapes and sustainable value chains, along with rural capacity building. Sylvain holds a Master of Engineering in Agriculture and Agro-food from ISARA Lyon and has furthered education in water resources management and policy from the University of Geneva.
