Devan Grose is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Prefect since December 2024, after holding a similar position at Kigo from May 2023 to December 2024. Previously, Devan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Thred Technologies, Inc. from July 2022 to May 2023 and progressed through roles from Software Engineer at CrowdStreet (March 2021 - July 2022) and NAVEX Global (January 2019 - March 2021) to Owner and Web Developer at Code Solutions, LLC (February 2018 - July 2020). Notably, Devan reduced development time by standardizing ReactJS patterns and created platform-wide libraries for improving code efficiency. In addition to software engineering, Devan has a diverse background in education as a swim instructor at Washington Athletic Club (November 2012 - December 2019) and a mathematics tutor (April 2013 - July 2018).
