Veena Rao is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently, Rao serves on the Board of Directors for Predictive Oncology and is a Start-Up Company Mentor Advisor at PharmStars. Previously held significant roles include President and Chief Business Officer at Portal Drug Delivery, Chief Commercial Officer and Vice President of Business Development at Beta Bionics, and Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Tempus Labs, Inc. Notably, Rao spent over a decade at Eli Lilly and Company, culminating in the role of Vice President of External Innovation, where leadership focused on exploring innovations in delivery and digital health. Academia includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
