Michael McKlveen, CISSP, PMP

Program Manager at Predicate Logic

Michael McKlveen, CISSP, PMP, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the field of cybersecurity and project management. Michael is currently working as a Program Manager at Predicate Logic, Inc. since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Solutions Engineer at SonicWall from August 2020 to December 2021, where they collaborated with customers to integrate security products and organized events to expand product awareness.

From May 2020 to August 2020, Michael worked as a Principle Subject Matter Expert at ARA, and before that, they served as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Naval Information Warfare Systems Command from June 2018 to May 2020. In this role, they exercised judgement and decision-making on complex technical issues, maintained project budgets and timelines, and facilitated successful agile software development projects.

Previously, at Predicate Logic, Inc., Michael held the position of Site Lead / Lead Senior Network Engineer from November 2015 to June 2018. Here, they were responsible for managing multiple software development and integration projects, improving test processes, and leading the development and deployment of an email delivery system for submarines.

Michael also has experience working for Navy Information Dominance Forces as a Cyber Security Team Lead from May 2014 to October 2015, where they oversaw compliance auditing and training on cybersecurity, and as a TNOSC Director and Network Operations Security Project Manager from March 2013 to April 2014, where they provided C4I support and reduced unplanned outages.

Prior to that, Michael worked as an IT Services Manager and Project Manager on board USS Harry S. Truman from February 2011 to March 2013, where they stabilized and repaired a failing network and achieved the highest Cybersecurity Readiness Inspection (CCRI) score. Michael also served as an Information Systems Security Manager and Project Manager at Special Boat Team 22 from December 2009 to February 2011, where they planned and engineered C4I systems.

Furthermore, Michael has experience as a Senior IT Service Technician at Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Det. Naples from September 2008 to November 2009 and as an ADP Department Head and Project Manager at Joint Communications Unit from January 2002 to August 2008, where they managed various projects and led the development of a ground mobile platform.

Michael McKlveen, CISSP, PMP obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Networks and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they attended from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned an AA degree in Electronics from Coastline Community College, where they studied from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Michael McKlveen has obtained various certifications. Michael became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in February 2011 through (ISC)². Michael acquired the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2020. Furthermore, they obtained the Registered Practitioner certification from The Cyber AB in October 2022.
