Jacob Altscheffel is an experienced quality engineer currently working at Precision Edge Surgical Products Company LLC since March 2021. Previously, Jacob held the position of advanced manufacturing engineer at Philips from April 2019 to March 2021 and served as a validation engineer at Zimmer Biomet from July 2017 to April 2019, focusing on process validation of medical implant heat sealer equipment and compliance with FDA regulations. Earlier, Jacob gained experience as an engineering learning center coach at Michigan Technological University in 2015, supporting students in programming and CAD, and as an orientation team leader. A co-op role at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics involved designing experiments for manifold validation and improving recycling processes. Jacob earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2017.
