Tom Griffin has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Tom started their career in 1982 as a Security Specialist in the United States Air Force, where they worked until 1988. Tom then joined the Air National Guard as a Security Specialist from 1992 to 1999 and continued their service in the US Army Reserve as a Senior Training Instructor from 1999 to 2006.

In 2000, Tom transitioned to the civilian workforce and worked at Martin's Point Health Care as a Manager, overseeing facilities, safety, security, disaster preparedness, housekeeping services, and more. Tom held this position for 12 years until 2012.
