Samuel Kubai has an extensive work experience in software engineering. Samuel began their career in 2015 as a Junior Developer at Ralphowino Consulting, where they were later promoted to Software Developer and Project Lead. In 2017, they moved to Cellulant as a Software Engineer and was responsible for developing the first and second version of the payment page and the developer portal. In 2018, they joined Andela as a Technical Team Lead for the Learning Technology and Talent Development Department, where they were responsible for the successful growth and development of over 100 developers and developed their own web app to manage the team. In 2020, they joined Microsoft as a Software Engineer II and JUMO.WORLD as a Senior Software Engineer - Product Engineering, where they contributed to platform-wide architecture design and implementation. Samuel currently works at Pray.com as a Senior Software Engineer.

Samuel Kubai obtained their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Information Technology between 2013 and 2017. Samuel also obtained certifications in C++: Move Semantics and Test-Driven Development in C++ from LinkedIn in September 2019, as well as an IBM DB2 Certifications from IBM.
