Kate Long has been in the marketing and communications industry since 2010. Kate began their career as an Intern/Administrative Assistant at PRB Public Relations, followed by a Visual Artist role at Macy's. In 2011, they became a Marketing Coordinator at Mary Kraft Staffing and HR Solutions. From 2014 to 2016, they held the role of Communications Specialist at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Digital Content Editor at UCLA Health. Kate then worked as a Marketing Project Manager at BH Cosmetics. In 2018, they were a Content Marketing Manager at both Kriser's Natural Pet and Independent Pet Partners. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Digital Activation Specialist at The New School and is currently a Digital Marketing Manager at Prana Pets.

Kate Long obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mass Communications, Public Relations Track from Towson University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Communications from FIDM/The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising between 2008 and 2010. Kate has also obtained certifications from Gorgias, Google, and Klaviyo, including Basic Agent from Gorgias in September 2022, Google Analytics for Beginners from Google in September 2022, Klaviyo Product Certified in January 2022, and SMS Strategy Certified from Klaviyo in January 2022.
