Sonali Behera started their work experience in 2016 as an intern at Odisha Human Rights Commission and later at Odisha State Commission for Women. In 2019, they worked as an intern at Indian Oil Corp Limited and Jaypee Associates law firm. In 2021, they joined Pramata as a Contract Analyst.

Sonali Behera attended University Law College from 2015 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on Law.
