Venky Soundararajan is the Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of nference since 2013. In 2017, they also founded and held the same role at Qrativ, a joint venture between Mayo Clinic and nference, until 2020. In 2020, Venky became the Co-Founder of Anumana, an nference spinco focused on developing AI algorithms for early disease detection and diagnostic intervention. In 2021, they co-founded Pramana, another nference spinco focused on digitizing pathology slides and creating a comprehensive pathology imaging archive.
Venky Soundararajan has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. Venky then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Following this, Venky undertook a Research Fellowship in Genetics at Harvard Medical School. The specific start and end years for each educational experience are not provided.
