Prasanth Perugupalli

Chief Product Officer at Pramana

Prasanth Perugupalli has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to imaging, analytics, and systems development. Prasanth is currently serving as the Vice President of Digital Imaging at nference, where they oversee the integration of Spectral Insights Digital Pathology into the nferX data science platform. In addition, they are the Chief Product Officer at Pramana, a position they have held since 2020.

Prior to their current roles, Perugupalli co-founded and served as the CEO of Spectral Insights, where they led the design and manufacturing of a state-of-the-art digital pathology solution. During their tenure, their team built an end-to-end platform that included imaging hardware, systems software, and a cloud-based image management and analytics suite.

Before joining Spectral Insights, Perugupalli worked as the Managing Director at IMEC India, where they led an R&D team specializing in imaging, analytics, and systems development for medical diagnostics. At Broadcom Corporation, they served as a Senior Product Line Manager, leading the development of 60GHz systems for wireless communication. Prasanth also represented Broadcom on the WiGig Board of Directors and in all 60GHz related activities in the Wi-Fi Alliance during their time as the Director of WiGig BoD.

Earlier in their career, Perugupalli served as the Director of Wireless RF Product Line at ANADIGICS, where they were responsible for RF power modules for 2.5G/3G and LTE applications. Before that, at Infineon Technologies (formerly Ericsson Microelectronics), they worked as a Sr. Staff Engineer and Program Lead for Advanced Technology Development, specializing in the development of RF LDMOS transistors for cellular base stations. Prasanth also gained experience as an RF Product Design Engineer at Motorola.

Throughout their career, Perugupalli has demonstrated their expertise in product management, team leadership, technology development, and strategic decision-making. Prasanth holds eight US patents and has proven himself to be a highly competitive and innovative professional in the field of imaging and wireless communication.

Prasanth Perugupalli completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University from 1992 to 1996. Prasanth then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Semiconductor Power Devices at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1996 to 1998.
