Ryan Boughen has extensive experience in education administration, primarily with Prairie South School Division #210. Ryan started as the Superintendent of School Services in 2009 and later became the Superintendent of Human Resources in 2010. In this role, they provided leadership and strategic direction in all areas of Human Resources. In 2017, Ryan transitioned to the role of Superintendent of School Operations, where they provided leadership and guidance in various education-related areas. Currently, they serve as the Director of Education, functioning as the CEO of the Board and overseeing the operation and administration of the entire school division. Ryan reports directly to the corporate Board and is accountable for the division's conduct and performance.
Ryan Boughen has a diverse education history. Ryan obtained a Master's Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Regina between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Walden University, attending from 2005 to 2007. Ryan'sBachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree was acquired from the University of Saskatchewan, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Ryan also holds various additional certifications, such as Leadership Coaching Skills Training from Expedition Coaching in 2016, EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360 from The Emotional Intelligence Training Company (MHS Incorp) in 2013, Crucial Conversations from VitalSmarts in 2011, and Threat Assessment Training - Level 2 and Threat Assessment Training - Level 1 from Lethbridge College in 2010 and 2009 respectively.
